Welcome to Staffy Stud, a New Zealand-based provider of frozen semen straws from health-tested Staffordshire Bull Terrier stud dogs. By engaging our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service ("ToS"). These terms ensure a fair and transparent process for all parties while protecting the interests of Staffy Stud and its clients.
Staffy Stud provides frozen semen straws from pedigree Staffordshire Bull Terrier stud dogs for artificial insemination (AI).
Semen is available for purchase by clients in New Zealand and worldwide, subject to applicable import/export regulations.
Staffy Stud may offer additional services in the future, such as puppy sales, subject to separate terms.
Stud fees vary based on the selected stud dog and are provided upon inquiry via sales@staffystud.co.nz or www.staffystud.co.nz.
Full payment is required prior to semen straw shipment. Accepted methods are bank transfer or cash as of todays date.
Prices exclude shipping costs, which are the client’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
All fees are non-refundable except as outlined in Section 4 (Guarantees).
All stud dogs undergo comprehensive health testing, including L-2HGA, HC-HSF4, conducted by Orivet.
Health test results and pedigree details are available upon request to ensure transparency.
Staffy Stud guarantees the quality of semen at the time of collection, provided it is stored and handled correctly by the client or their agents.
If artificial insemination using a Staffy Stud semen straw does not result in a confirmed pregnancy, Staffy Stud will provide one (1) additional semen straw from the same stud dog at no additional cost, subject to the following conditions:
Insemination must be performed by a licensed veterinarian or certified canine fertility professional.
Proof of professional insemination (e.g., veterinary certificate) must be provided within 30 days of the initial insemination.
The female must be healthy, of breeding age, and in estrus at the time of insemination, as verified by a veterinarian.
The repeat straw must be used within the female’s next heat cycle or within 6 months, whichever is sooner.
No further straws will be provided beyond the one repeat, and no cash refunds are offered.
Staffy Stud is not responsible for pregnancy outcomes influenced by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to female health, insemination technique, or improper semen handling.
Artificial insemination must be performed by a licensed veterinarian or certified canine fertility professional to ensure proper technique and eligibility for guarantees.
Clients must provide proof of professional insemination (e.g., veterinary invoice or certificate) to claim a repeat straw under Section 4.
Improper handling or insemination by non-professionals voids all guarantees and warranties.
Frozen semen is shipped in liquid nitrogen containers to maintain viability, in compliance with international biosecurity regulations (e.g., New Zealand’s Animal Welfare Act, Australian DAFF standards).
Clients are responsible for all shipping costs, import permits, and compliance with destination country regulations.
Staffy Stud is not liable for delays, damages, or losses during shipping, provided the semen is dispatched in viable condition.
Clients must ensure proper storage of semen upon receipt, maintaining liquid nitrogen conditions until use.
Staffy Stud is not liable for failed pregnancies, puppy health issues, or other outcomes resulting from factors beyond our control, including but not limited to female health, insemination errors, or improper semen storage.
Clients assume full responsibility for the handling, storage, and use of semen straws upon receipt.
Staffy Stud’s liability is limited to the cost of the purchased semen straw, excluding shipping or incidental costs.
Any disputes arising from these ToS will be governed by New Zealand law and resolved under the jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
Clients are encouraged to contact Staffy Stud at info@staffystud.co.nz to resolve issues amicably.
If disputes cannot be resolved informally, parties agree to pursue mediation or arbitration before legal action, in accordance with New Zealand’s Arbitration Act 1996.
Clients must provide accurate information regarding the female’s health, breeding status, and intended use of semen.
Clients are responsible for obtaining necessary import permits and complying with all local regulations.
Misrepresentation of female health or breeding conditions voids all guarantees and may result in termination of services.
The Staffy Stud name, logo, and website content are protected by trademark and copyright laws.
Clients may not use Staffy Stud’s branding or materials without written permission.
Staffy Stud reserves the right to terminate services or refuse sales if:

Payment is not received in full.
Misconduct, such as fraudulent claims or misuse of semen, is suspected.
Termination will be communicated in writing, and no refunds will be provided for services already rendered.
Staffy Stud reserves the right to update these ToS at any time. Changes will be posted on www.staffystud.co.nz and communicated to clients via email.
Continued use of services after amendments constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
